We have three cups, blue, red and yellow.

Lets us consider their name: Blue Cup = B,   Yellow = Y  and Red = R

Now according to puzzle image, the question is;

B + B + B = 24

Y + B + R = 38

Y – R = 10

Y + R × B = ??

Solution:

>>First Equation:

B + B + B = 24   ⇒   3B = 24   ⇒    B = 24/3    ⇒    B = 8

>>Second Equation:

Y + B + R = 38   ⇒   Y + R = 38 – B   ⇒   Y + R = 38 – 8   ⇒   Y + R = 30

>>Third Equation:

Y – R = 10   (As we can see in third equation, Y + R = 30, Now compare these equations, and you will get Y & R)

⇒ Y + R +  Y  – R = 30 + 10   ⇒   2Y = 40   ⇒   Y = 40/2   ⇒   Y = 20

∴ from equation third:-  Y – R = 10   ⇒  R = 10

>>Fourth Equation:

⇒ Y + R × B = ??   ⇒   20 + 10 × 8 (Do multiplication first)   ⇒   20 + 80  ⇒  100 Ans.
