Solution:

Equation 1st:

⇒ Heart Arrow + Heart Arrow + Heart Arrow = 24

⇒ Heart Arrow = 8

Equation 2nd:

⇒ Boy & Girl + Boy & Girl = 2(Heart Arrow, Diamond)

We will solve this equation later

Equation 3rd:

⇒ 2 Heart + Heart Arrow + Diamond = 24

Put the value of Heart Arrow (HA) from equation first;

⇒ 2 Heart + 8 + Diamond = 24

⇒ 2 Heart + Diamond = 24 – 8

⇒ 2 Heart + Diamond = 16

Equation 4th:

⇒ 2 Heart + 2 Heart – Diamond = 20

⇒ 4 Heart – Diamond = 20

Equation 6th: Compare Equation 3rd and 4th

⇒ 2 Heart + Diamond = 16     (From 3rd eq.)

⇒ 4 Heart – Diamond = 20      (From 4th eq.)

Will get the value of Heart and Diamond.

⇒ Heart = 6 and Diamond = 4

Now Solve 2nd Equation;

⇒ Boy & Girl + Boy & Girl = 2(Heart Arrow, Diamond)

Lets focus on details and rewrite this equation

  1. It is not clear whether symbol drawn together are supposed to be added or multiplicated. Mathematically, when there is no sign, it is a multiplication but in your correction there are considered as additions. It could be specifiied in the beginning.

    For instance, for line 2, I read : Boy * Heart * Girl + Boy * Heart * Girl = 2 * Arrow Heart * Diamond
